First, there is your warranty for your customers. In service level agreements, you agree to precisely what is under warranty for customers. When providing service, the system automatically picks up the information from your service level agreement and processes the warranty. You can set hours spent by the service technician or which specific spare parts are under warranty. Your service technicians can merely do their job, instead of questioning what is under warranty.

Secondly, there is your warranty claim to the manufacturer or supplier. This warranty claim process is fully integrated with the service work order module. The entire warranty process is covered, from the decision that certain parts or hours on a work order are warranty related, to the time the payment from the supplier arrives. The reporting also allows quick and easy access to the results of warranties claimed vs. warranties paid.

To make things even easier for you we can create interfaces with the manufacturer or supplier system. You generate the claim in your ERP system and from there on it is processed electronically to the manufacturer or supplier. The whole process, including the payment and closing of the claim, is automated. Processing your claims electronically results in increased accuracy and significant time savings.
