Boskalis starts with Dysel’s NAV + ELC

On December 3, 2018, the departments of Royal Boskalis that deal with instrumentation and survey equipment went live with the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics NAV + Dysel’s Equipment Life Cycle. These departments are responsible for the rental and maintenance of technically advanced equipment. This equipment is used in the wide variety of projects carried out by Boskalis all over the world. With this go-live, Boskalis is expected to achieve greater efficiency by optimally organizing the projects and will have improved insights into the lifecycle and maintenance history of the rental fleet. In addition, Boskalis will comply with international regulations.

Currently, Boskalis uses NAV + ELC mainly to support the rental and service processes. In addition to the ERP system, a first version of a scan application has also been put into use and various interfaces have been created with other systems used within the Boskalis organization. In the short term, Boskalis will start to use the ELC – Customer Portal to provide international projects with a better insight into the on-site equipment and to enable submitting requests for equipment that is needed. The scan application will also be expanded in functionalities and optimized.
