Almost any organization needs to exchange information with its customers, suppliers, partners and/or subcontractors from time to time. Dysel’s portals facilitate an easy and efficient information transfer by allowing your contacts partly access to your information system.
Technology
The portals developed by Dysel are based on various technologies. Web portals are integrated with a website and allow the user to view information through a browser or exchange. Interfacing is based on XML, CSV and similar technologies and is widely used by manufacturers and their dealer network. It is also possible to automatically send emails after performing certain actions, possibly with PDF files attached. And for field service, Dysel has developed the Everyware solution, benefiting from the most modern technology in field service available.
Customer Portals
Customer portals can make a number of processes easier for both you and your customers. By using a web portal from Dysel, you can give your customers partly access to your information system. Even more convenient is it when your system and the customer’s system can communicate directly with each other. This is increasingly technically feasible and provides you with even greater convenience in communicating with your customers. You can give your customers access to the customer portal to, for example, order parts, view equipment information or invoices, and to submit service requests or warranty claims. You decide which processes can be handled using the customer portal. You can permit your customers to schedule the service requests themselves or choose to keep the service planning in-house. Portals for Suppliers and Manufacturers
In your partnership with suppliers and manufacturers you can also benefit from increased efficiency with Dysel’s portals. We exchange the master data, e.g. part numbers and descriptions, and provide interfaces between you and the supplier. These interfaces make several processes a lot faster and easier. Think about ordering parts or equipment, and transport and invoicing of your order. Portals for Subcontractors
Subcontractors are quite similar to your own employees in the type of work they do for you. To optimize the cooperation with your subcontractors, different technologies are used. Small subcontractors can be allowed partly access to your information system via a web browser or, if they work in the field, with the field service solution Everyware. Larger organizations probably need to have all information in their own system as well. To avoid duplicate entry, you can let subcontractors enter data into ELC after which you return the data to their system. Or you can let subcontractors enter data in their own system and have them sending it up to your system. Dysel’s advisors can perfectly help you in selecting the best method. By using these technologies, subcontractors can view equipment information like certificates, technical data and service history, and they can order parts and arrange the transportation and invoicing of their order.
